Shelby Sinclair


Shelby is a PhD Candidate in the Department of History and the Department of African American Studies. Her areas of specialization include 19th & 20th century United States history, modern Caribbean history, African American history, black feminist theory, and the history of U.S. empire. Shelby earned her B.A. with Honors from Stanford University. After Stanford, she stayed in California and worked at Google. In her free time, Shelby enjoys cooking, catching up with friends from college, and reading fiction.
