Hello! My name is Sally Jane Ruybalid. When I am not in the School of Architecture, you could find me around Butler College or participating in one of the many groups in which I'm involved around campus.  Along with being a Peer Academic Advisor, I manage for the Princeton Women's basketball team, sing in the Chapel Choir and for Acapellago, and partake in the Butler College Council.  I have completed a PIIRS Global Seminar in Italy, Princeton in Portugal, Princeton in Munich (virtual), Kierkegaard in Copenhagen (virtual), a virtual IIP and a PICS internship; so definitely let me know if you ever have any questions about what to do with your Summer!  I love to chat and almost always have food or tea, so please feel free to contact me at my credentials listed.

What’s a favorite memory from your first year at Princeton?
My freshman seminar (Fall 2017) went to the MoMa in New York City and viewed the Frank Lloyd Wright exhibit

What’s a Princeton class that has shaped the way you think and why?
American Sign Language: Deaf Culture is so important yet undervalued.  I've also used ASL so many times and it is one of my favourite languages.  I actually wrote my Junior Paper about DeafSpace and human-centred design.
