Hello everyone! My name is Jason Hong and I am from Rockville, Maryland. I am a rising senior majoring in Molecular Biology with a certificate in global health and health policy and am also premed. On campus, I am involved with McGraw, am a member of the Kang lab, volunteer at PMC, and play clarinet for Symphonia. In my free time I like going for short walks around my neighborhood or just chatting with friends. I look forward to meeting you all!

What is a favorite memory from your first year at Princeton?
My favorite memory is actually walking into Frick Chemistry building for the first time. Seeing the rows of lab stations to my left and the huge lecture hall in the basement definitely got me excited to attend classes at Princeton!
What’s a Princeton class that has shaped the way you think and why?
As a premed student, I think SLA 368 (Literature and Medicine) was really enlightening in showing me the important role physicians play in shaping the patient experience. Especially since I took this class during the start of the pandemic, the readings and lectures really cemented my desire to help and work with patients.
