Hi, I'm Jahnavi! I'm an international student from Bangalore, India, and I'm so excited to be a PAA this year. I'm majoring in Astrophysics with a minor in Computer Science, but I love all things creative, especially music. In my free time, I love singing with my a cappella group, writing anything from poetry to comedy sketches (not necessarily good ones...) and religiously playing the NYT Games. I know first-hand how hectic Princeton can get, so I look forward to being there for each and every one of you, to help in all the ways I can!

What's a favorite memory from your first year at Princeton?
My favourite memory from my first year at Princeton is the copious amounts of karaoke I did (and continue to do)! Whether in Witherspoon basement or Butler basement, nothing helps destress like yelling your lungs out to 'Let It Go' with your friends.
What's a Princeton class that has shaped the way you think and why?
A Princeton class that shaped the way I think was definitely AST206: Black Holes. I took it my freshman year when I was deciding between majoring in Astrophysics or COS, and it played a huge role in my final decision. The class taught me how the biggest stars in our universe exist only because of the way the smallest particles in the universe behave and that nature has an unshakable order, whether we see it or not. Since then, I've never stopped wondering and wanting to learn more about the universe we live in!
What's your favorite place to study on campus?
My favorite place to study on campus is the sofa on the second floor of Firestone!
