Hey Butler! My name is Connie and I'm from the Bay Area in California. I'm studying Sociology with certificates in Environmental Studies and Statistics and Machine Learning. On campus, I'm a Writing Center Fellow and the Vice President of Princeton Conservation Society. I love spontaneous boba runs, spin classes at Dillon, and thinking about how to use social science to drive good policy. I'm so excited to be a PAA because that means I'll get to meet you reading this and all the lovely first-years in Butler. Please reach out anytime!

What's a favorite memory from your first year at Princeton?
Golden hour picnics on Poe Field!

What's a Princeton class that has shaped the way you think and why?
SOC380: Ethnography and Public Policy showed me how ethnography can reveal overlooked social problems, dispel stereotypes, and promote human wellness within policymaking settings. It shaped my guiding belief that good listening and empathy are powerful political tools.
