Hello! My name is Anika Buch, and I am majoring in Molecular Biology, with a certificate in Global Health and Health Policy on the pre-med track. Outside of class, I am a member of the Notterman Lab, a Research Editor for The 'Prince', a volunteer at Penn Medicine Princeton Health, and a Learning Consultant at McGraw. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends.

What's a favorite memory from your first year at Princeton?
Meeting my friends in person for the first time

What's a Princeton class that has shaped the way you think and why?
ANT 240: Medical Anthropology

This class fundamentally shaped the way I think about the modern healthcare system, but also about the systemic inequities which persist - all of which impact how people exist and seek care in the world. I am inclined to analyze the modes of providing healthcare in this country from a much more well-informed standpoint, and am better positioned to pursue my studies in Global Health and Health Policy as a result.
