Martin A. Dale '53 Summer Awards Information

 Attention Sophomores     

Have the Summer of Your Life!  


Do you have an idea for a summer project to explore a new area of interest, live out a dream, or develop your creativity or leadership skills?

The Martin A. Dale ’53 Award gives Princeton sophomores up to $5000* to fund special, non-academic summer projects.

Past projects have included:

- Travel to Russia to learn Tuvan Throat Singing

- Blogging about food on the Iberian Peninsula

- Exploring Muslim rap in Berlin, Paris, and London

- Practicing exercises to master performance art

Applications are available beginning Tuesday, December 13 on the Student Activities Funding Engine (SAFE).  

The deadline for submission of applications is

Monday, February 20.


*Students receiving Princeton grant aid who win the award will also have their expected summer earnings replaced.

** Travel destinations should not be on the State Department’s Travel Advisory list.
