Course Offerings is out, and it is time to think about course selection for the spring. I’m writing to remind you that course selection for juniors will take place via TigerHub on December 2nd, from 7:30am-11:59pm ET (Note: ONE DAY ONLY). Please follow instructions from your department about securing approval from a departmental adviser for your spring courses. Most departments now use the Departmental Academic Planning Form (DAPF) within TigerHub, allowing you to share your course enrollment plans with an adviser and get their feedback and approval. The DAPF (found by using the Academic Planning Form link in TigerHub) is the best way to prepare for your meeting with your department adviser, and you are encouraged to use it to track your overall course planning. If you have any questions about the advisement process please check with your director of undergraduate studies or departmental administrator. Do NOT wait until the last minute to figure out how to get approval to register!
As you plan for the spring, be sure to check your degree progress report to see where you stand with respect to completion of both your departmental and University DISTRIBUTION AREA REQUIREMENTS. If you are unsure about a departmental requirement, ask your director of undergraduate studies or departmental administrator. If you have any question on University academic regulations or requirements, please reach out to me directly (firstname.lastname@example.org).
I send you my best wishes for the home stretch of the fall term; don’t forget that all of us in the Butler College Office are here to help if you have questions or concerns, or just want to chat.
