Dear Butler Seniors,
I hope you are all well and continuing to take care of yourselves and each other. As you transition into Week 8 of the fall term, I wanted to share some important reminders:
- Choosing the PDF option: The PDF election period began last week and the deadline to elect a PDF and drop courses is 11:59pm EST on November 11. Make sure that you talk with your department before PDFing departmental courses.
- The final deadline to DROP a class (for a $45 fee) is Friday, November 11 at 11:59 pm. All seniors have a hold placed on their record to avoid accidental course drops that could negatively impact graduation eligibility so if you are concerned about the need to PDF or drop, discuss your situation with an academic adviser (me or your department) ASAP. Please let me know if you have questions.
- Mid-term grades (posted only for some courses, but not all) can be seen in TigerHub and/or on Canvas. If you haven’t received feedback on how you’re doing in a course, visit your professor or preceptor during office hours to discuss your progress right away. This is a great opportunity for you to check in with your professors if you haven’t yet done so this term.
