Butler College Trip Policy
(please read carefully, as our policy has changed from previous years)
BUTLER STUDENTS: Butler College trip tickets are now sold on the Princeton University Ticketing website. Watch your email for advance notice of when tickets will be available for the next upcoming show; the message will come from the Butler College Office. Instructions for initiating and utilizing your personal online ticketing account appears below; please complete this initiation in advance of on-sale, so that it does not delay you from purchasing your tickets when they become available.
Tickets will be made available in a tiered release as follows:
On-Sale Day 1: Butler College residents, RCAs, RGSs
On-Sale Day 2: includes Butler non-residents (upperclass housing)
On-Sale Day 3: includes Butler Fellows (PLEASE NOTE THAT BUTLER FELLOWS WILL STILL PURCHASE TICKETS IN PERSON AT UNIVERSITY TICKETING IN THE FRIST CAMPUS CENTER)
Tickets are non-refundable, but may be gifted or resold to another Butlerite for no more than $25. Please notify the Butler College Office if you have transferred your ticket and provide a name and cell phone number for yourself and the recipient of the ticket (for liability purposes). Eligible students may purchase a single ticket during the first two days of sales. A single additional ticket may be purchased on days 3+ by Butler students or fellows.
Unless otherwise indicated, all trips depart from the Transit Plaza next to Wawa.
Online ticketing instructions for BUTLER STUDENTS:
If you have never signed on to the Princeton University Ticketing website, please start here:
As a member of the Princeton community, an account has been pre-established for you in the ticketing system. Prior to your first purchase, you will need to log on in order to initiate your account. The set-up is separate from the Princeton network with netID.
Please go to https://tickets.princeton.edu and click on the orange banner on top that says “Click here to activate your account.” Please be sure to use your Princeton.edu email address when logging in.
Continue to follow the directions listed below the heading marked, “Activating your pre-established account.”
If you have previously initiated your account, please go to the website: https://tickets.princeton.edu and click on the words, “log in” on the upper right hand corner of the page.
- Click on the top orange line: (Click here if you already have an activated account)
- Enter your Princeton.edu email address (which is your netID@princeton.edu) and the password you created for the ticketing system.
- Click Login
- Once you are logged in, click on the Home tab to see the events listed.
Even if you have signed in before, please verify that you can access the Princeton University Ticketing website. You will need to be able to login in order to see the event before you try to purchase it. If you are not logged in to your account, you will not see the event listed.
When completing the ticket sale, please be sure to include your cell phone # in your contact information. This information will only be used by the college should there be a trip issue.
All trips leave from the Transit Plaza next to Wawa.
