Butler College Trip Policy

Butler College UPDATED Trip Policy

Butler College trip tickets are sold exclusively to Butler affiliates via the Princeton University Ticketing website. Instructions for activating and utilizing the online ticketing system appears highlighted below; please complete this activation in advance of on-sale, so that you avoid delays when attempting to purchase your tickets when they become available.

Online ticketing instructions for BUTLER STUDENTS:

Prior to your Butler College trip on-sale, log in to the University Ticketing Site to ensure you have an account and that you can see the event.

In order to avoid missing the opportunity to purchase tickets, please sign in to the University Ticketing site (https://tickets.princeton.edu) and login with your NetID and password prior to the on-sale date. After you log in, scroll down to the date of the show you’re interested in to confirm that you can see it. If you cannot see the event, kindly email [email protected].

Tickets will be made available in a tiered release as follows:

On-Sale Day 1 & 2: Butler College undergraduates & RGSs (1 ticket per person)
Butler students may purchase a single ticket for themselves during the first two days of sales.
while supplies last

On-Sale Day 3: If tickets are still available, on-sale opens to all undergraduates (1 ticket per person).

Tickets are intended primarily for Butler students, but will be made available to all undergraduates if they do not sell out. Ticket purchases are non-refundable, but you may gift or resell to another Butlerite for no more than $25. If you determine at any time after you’ve purchased a ticket that you are unable to attend the show, we expect you to sell or gift your ticket to another Butler student. Your cost of $25 is heavily subsidized; we want to take every step possible to avoid any of the tickets going unutilized. If you have transferred your ticket to another student, please notify the Butler College Office by noon on the Friday before the show; kindly provide a name and cell phone number for yourself and the recipient of the ticket (so that chaperones can contact you both, if necessary).

Butler students are permitted to purchase tickets for a maximum of 3 shows per academic year.

Students who require specific accessibility accommodations should contact the college office and we will make our best effort to procure tickets/transportation as appropriate.

Ticket holders:
Unless otherwise indicated, all trips depart from the Transit Plaza next to Wawa 3 hours prior to showtime. If you have not arrived by the time indicated on your University Ticketing confirmation, you may be considered a no-show and your ticket could be made available to someone in the stand-by line. Please plan to arrive early to check-in with the chaperone to avoid this scenario.

Missed the opportunity to buy a ticket, but interested in attending the show?
In the case that a ticket-holder(s) is a no-show, a ticket(s) could become available at the last minute. For this reason, we allow for an informal stand-by line to form at the bus. If you are interested in trying for a standby ticket, arrive at the Transit Plaza next to Wawa in advance of the bus departure. If, once the chaperones have taken attendance, it is determined that there is an unused ticket available, those in the line will be offered the chance to attend the trip, in the order they arrived. Please be prepared to purchase a standby ticket for $20 in cash.
