At Butler, you have many advisers who can share their academic wisdom and life experience as seasoned teachers and scholars, but often there is no substitute for the insights of fellow students. That's where Peer Academic Advisers come in. Below is a compendium of week-by-week tips that your PAAs have prepared for you, from how to choose your first classes in September to how to manage your time and how to approach tests and papers.
These tips will be updated for the coming year. Notably, Princeton is implementing a permanent new academic calendar this year, where the fall semester will end before winter break, meaning the end-of-semester tips will be lightly revised. The pace of the fall will now just echo that in the spring, so your peer advisers have lots of wisdom to impart on that rhythm as well.
